Preparing for a K-pop audition

BABYMONSTER – ‘Last Evaluation’ EP.5 Review

EP5 was filled with individual performances of each trainee.
The three girls who performed in the episode are PHARITA, RORA, and ASA.

PHARITA sang John Legend’s All of Me as her soft voice.

YG praised PHARITA’s voice for making people feel comfortable.

The next stage was RORA’s stage.

RORA selected Lewis Capaldi’s Someone You Loved.

RORA is a member of Korean nationality and has an appealing voice.
To make the lyrics sound natural, she even asked PHARITA for advice on English pronunciation.

The judges praised, “RORA was immersed in the song as if she had just broken up with her lover” and “The emotions in the song are really good.”

The next stage was the ASA’s stage.

ASA selected G-Eazy, Bebe Rexha’s Me, and Myself & I.

ASA is a member who has mainly shown rap before, but he also prepared a song for this evaluation.

The impressive part was that ASA practiced the song 100 times using a calculator, actually adding the number of times once.
Also, I remembered how she turned on the camera and monitored herself and practiced like a real stage.

ASA not only sang songs but also rapped with lyrics in Korean. (She is Japanese)

The judge also praised ASA for writing the rap himself, and evaluated that her long practice was not in vain.

The process of CHIQUITA preparing for the stage comes out, and EP5 ends.
I like to watch Kpop group’s stage, and among them, I felt that the individual skills of BABYMONSTER were really good.
I’m also looking forward to the performances that the remaining trainees will perform.
