NewJeans’s double single “How Sweet” performed well on the U.S. Billboard Global Song Chart for two consecutive weeks.
According to a chart released by Billboard in the U.S. on June 11, NewJeans’s title track “How Sweet” ranked 12th and 21st on the Global and Global 200, respectively. The track “Bubble Gum” also ranked 27th and 48th, respectively.
Billboard’s global song charts are based on streaming and music sales around the world, which is one of the global popularity indicators.
NewJeans not only performed well on domestic music charts but also did not miss its overseas performance. They will soon hold a fan meeting to celebrate their Japanese debut at Tokyo Dome in Japan on June 26-27.
